How to Install gdb software package in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

gdb software package provides GNU Debugger, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gdb

gdb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gdb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdb *

You will get with gdb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
